I really think Jillian Tamaki may just be my new favourite illustrator. I've flipped though her book "Skim" before, but now I truly must have it. Sketchblog lovelieness here too. I hope her new strip "Super Mutant Magic Academy" becomes a book.

The new Gap logo is causing a firestorm on the web. They launched their new logo last week, and due to an overwhelmingly bad response online have defended it but since withdrawn it. Instead, they are opting for new options from the online community, which could be a clever ploy to get better work for free. Is it hoax? Must be because the new option is utterly crap.

Pssshhht! The after-party made it bearable, but overall, Loeries sucked balls. The work: marginal, the ceremony: boring, the mood: grouchy. Oh dear. Woulda much preferred checking out Takashi Murakami's amazing exhibition at Versailles.
